Lebanon – Measures to combat COVID-19

30 aprile, 2020

The designated operator of Lebanon, LibanPost, would like to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that, on 24 April 2020, the Lebanese Government decided to gradually lift confinement measures. However, the period of application of other measures aimed at minimizing the spread of COVID-19 has been extended, based on a plan covering the months of May and June 2020.

Accordingly, as Beirut Airport is still not operating passenger flights (other than for repatriation of Lebanese citizens) until further notice, designated operators are kindly invited to use the available cargo flights to send their mail dispatches to Lebanon.

LibanPost thanks all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding.
