IT Application Support Specialist (m/f/d)

We are looking for an IT Application Support Specialist for the Continental Europe IT department at Asendia. In this position, you will support the CIO and the European subsidiaries in knowing IT applications and support business users to maximize the benefit on usage, granting workaround or addressing clear issues and requests to development teams. Business applications helping to provide Ecommerce platforms and solutions used in 8 countries with more than 300 internal and external users. You will also be responsible for documenting, analyzing and propose best practices on usage of the applications you’re in charge.

Your Tasks

 

• You will work with stakeholders to support them on applications usage
• Identify and promote best practices and workarounds to business users to maximize the benefit on using applications
• Evaluate and assess potential issues, addressing them to Development teams
• Be the “Master” user of the applications and referral point for any new processes to be used within the applications
• Contribute to documents applications

 

 

 

Your Profile

 

• You are a motivated person with strong analytical and solution-oriented skills
• Degree in Computer Science or STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics)
• Interest to self-learning and mastering business applications in logistic, ecommerce and shipments industries
• Analytical skills and ability to break down complex problems and activities
• Experience in working on projects or in international teams with multiple stakeholders is part of your profile
• You are fluent in English and at least one of these languages: Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch
• Interesting to gain process and software knowledge linked to logistic and ecommerce industries
• User knowledge of Confluence and Jira tools
